"The Meadow
Lights" was started almost 40 years ago when the owner, Mr. Roy D.
Johnson, began decorating his home and yard for his children to enjoy.
Each year he decorated a little more than the year before. It didn't take long before others in the community began enjoying the lights
also. Each year as the lights grew, so did the number of people who came to see them. Since then, the lights have grown from a single
decorated yard to over 30 acres of lights and from the community riding by to thousands from all over the state each year.
