Welcome
The Meadow Lights is the largest and oldest Christmas light show in eastern North Carolina. We are a Family owned and operated business
that started more than 40 years ago. In 1994 we built "The Old Country Store" to sell drinks and old fashioned candy. Since we have become one of the largest candy stores in the state specializing in Christmas and old fashion candy, carrying over 300 varieties. We display lights on over 30 acres and operate a train ride through 10 plus acres.
We display lights in the spirit of Christmas and we are one of the only Christmas attractions that honors the true meaning of Christmas. With over 10 years in the making we have re-enacted the life of Jesus Christ, our savior, using over 20 custom mannequins spread over 6 scenes, from his birth to his resurrection.

For all ages!
All though all of our lights are visible from the road we operate 3 trains through 10 acres of our displays. The trains feature windows on 3 sides to help keep you 
warm on those cold nights. Although out of a child's dreams, the train is for riders of all ages from 0 to 105 years old. Our entire fleet was just replaced in 2007 and now features lower cars with wider doors to help better accommodate our senior citizens

The Carousel
For all ages!
Our newest attraction is a 16 horse carousel. Just like the train, this ride is for all ages. The carousel is enclosed and will operate rain or shine.
Tickets.......$2.00 per person (adults accompanying small children do not need a ticket)
Santa
Santa visits us nightly and is available to take pictures or to talk to children through December 24th when he returns to the North Pole.
